Upon arrival at Munich Airport COACH/ASSISTANT for transfer to your hotel for check-in. The

remainder of the day free at leisure. Meet your assistant in the lobby and walk as a group to a

restaurant for dinner. (3course set menu, excluding drinks).

Visit the Frauenkirche (free entry), the Hofbräuhaus (free entry), and the colourful Viktualienmarkt as

well as Marienplatz [main square] including Clock Tower at the Rathaus. After continue to Englischer

Garten and see Eisbachwelle. (no entrances included).

Lunch on own.

COACH/ASSISTANT for one way transfer to Oktoberfest. You will return to your hotel on your own –

no transfer provided.

For two weeks, the Oktoberfest in Munich attracts millions of people visiting its beer tents. The

Hofbrauhaus, possibly the most famous beer hall worldwide, is located in the city centre. This world’s

largest beer festival has been running annually since 1810. It is held in 14 large tents and around 20

small tents, each one sponsored by a different brewery. You can find typical Bavarian and traditional

German food served along with the beer. If you prefer wine, this is also readily available. There is, of

course, lots of music being played.

COACH/GUIDE for full day excursion to Chiemsee.

Upon arrival board the boat [roundtrip tickets] and make our way towards the two picturesque islands

- the Herreninsel & Fraueninsel. After arriving on the Herreninsel, we will explore the magnificent

Herrenchiemsee Palace [entrance included], which was built in 1878 by the fairytale king Ludwig II of

Bavaria as a copy of the famous French Versailles. The palace is one of the most lavish royal buildings

in Germany.Leaving the bigger island behind, we will continue, of course still by boat, to the next stop

- the Fraueninsel, there, we visit the historical Benedictine abbey.

After return by boat to the mainland and then back to Munich. Lunch & Dinner on own
